TVP UPDATE DECEMBER 2011

SWEET CAROLINE

Famously sung by Neil Diamond and now we have our own and she’s starting at the beginning of January.

It’s taken some searching but at long last we have a new account handler.

With her “soft” Glaswegian accent (seriously I mean it) she’ll be greeting callers in the New Year.

Caroline will be handling all aspects of client liaison, managing order processing, stock control and dealing with any queries you may have and if she’s not available, there’s still John, Giles or Heather.

Firstly though she’ll be enjoying Hogmanay!

SEARCHING OUT THE SUN

We’ve just completed the distribution of 140 pallets of Holiday Brochures by parcel carrier, road, air and even sea freight, to some 30 countries worldwide.

This is no ordinary travel company and one of their statements goes “To embrace the bizarre, step off the beaten path and boldly embark down the road less travelled.

They’re number one in their niche market and here at TVP we’d like to think we’ve contributed a little, by getting the right brochures to the right people on time.

DOING OUR BIT FOR THE ENVIROMENT

We do work for some interesting clients and in particular this year we have two companies whos focus is the environment.

The first one’s aim is to protect the uniqueness of the Chilterns and the second one promotes the preservation of open spaces.

Both organisations are local and everybody here feels that we’re doing our bit to make sure any communications we send out are properly presented and correctly addressed.

We do take it personally.

SO MANY POSTCARDS

What a nightmare, 27,000 postcards to personalise in two positions and the card is fully varnished. It won’t go through the inkjet and it won’t feed from the standard tray on the laser printer, so it’s down to the bypass tray, with one machine taking 60 cards at a time and the other 30.

So, we run it continually from 7 in the morning until 5 at night and finish the job in 2.5 days.

We won’t be beaten.
